Please join us for an activist training on Sunday, October 18th from 12-5 PM.  A staffer from the Americans United national office and a guest trainer will lead participants through workshops on "The Nuts and Bolts of Grassroots Organizing" and "Leadership Development."  Updates and information from the national office will also be provided.  Don't miss this opportunity to learn new skills and to network with other church-state activists.

Mikey Weinstein, Military Religious Freedom Foundation

Weinstein has launched a campaign to protect the religious freedoms of members of the United States Armed Forces by campaigning for restoration of the constitutionally mandated separation of church-and-state in the military. Appearing widely on national television and radio, his essays have been published on the op-ed pages of leading newspapers, and he has been the subject of newspaper and magazine articles about his efforts.
